At this year’s inaugural Usenix Enigma security conference in San Francisco, Rob Joyce explained how to keep top hackers like himself and others out of your system. Joyce is the head of NSA’s Tailored Access Operations. This is the government’s top hacking team. So naturally everyone was eager to hear what he had to say.
Interesting to note: the login credentials of your organization’s VIPs are not necessarily what hackers will try to access, instead – the NSA hunts sysadmins. So the credentials of network administrators and others with high levels of network access and privileges are who the intruders will prey on.
